Why Prayers Should Never Be Curses

Why curse others when you pray???

I have seen a trend, that perplexes me, and saddens my heart. There are those praying for their obstacles, negative situations, and road blocks to be removed by wishing others to be cursed, as if these targeted others had anything to do with these things. Even if any had wished you harm, is it truly a good act to curse them?

Consider...

The Apostle Paul says in Romans chapter 12, “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

If not to Curse, What Should You Do?

I believe prayers should remain positive, uplifting, and blessed. It is all right to request a negative situation to cease, or be replaced with a new positive one, or to ask to be freed from some perceived oppression you have learned from. But, there is really no good reason to curse others. I believe that such an act will reflect on you, delay you, and slow your own progress. Let it go, and trust in the justice of the Divine, trust in karma, and do not do as others may do, but choose to be example of what others should do. Keep your karma positive, and positive things will find you. Be kind, be the light, and shine bright. May God watch over you, see you through, and protect you. Love is the best Warfare!

Brightest Blessings, God Bless

Judgement verses Judgement

Feather of Maat & Heart Scale

The Heart and the Feather, in equal measure?

There are different kinds of Judgement, and not meaning discernment! Even recognizing a wrong does not give you a right to judge someone's heart and soul. You can condemn an action, but not the soul of the person. Assumptions on someone's character based on outward appearances and circumstances, is not a full context of the entire person. Judgement is best left to Divine discernment, when it comes to the moral, ethical, and what is sinful behavior. It is better to discern someone by the actions that come from their heart, and their remorse or lack of. Even in lacking remorse, we shouldn't hasten to judge someone, as that is best left to karmic divine discernments. Our view is limited. We can't possibly perceive from the highest perspective, as a point out in the cosmos may view something within a whole picture.

Blind Justice

Consider why is Justice blind?

This is not about judgement in law or a courthouse. It is everyday judgment against others based on preconceptions without questioning. We should hesitate, learn more of something, find context, and even then hesitate to judge. Discerning is different, that is when you decide if something feels balanced with you, your goals, true self, good or bad for you... Discernment may change from situation to situation, or as you grow or pursue a new goal. Justice waits to learn the details, and does not rely on surface perceptions to make decisions. That is a good practice. That is why Justice is blind.

Truth and Balance, Fairness & Justice

To Judge or Not to Judge?

Consider:

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Romans 2:1

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. Matthew 7:1

Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. Romans 14:13

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37

There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:12

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Colossians 2:16-17

The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. Romans 14:3

What are all these passages saying really?

First examine yourself, know yourself, do not examine others for your own flaws, and attempt to see beyond these limiting perceptions. Remember not to do to others as they might you, and instead do as you would hope would be done onto you. Strive not to be a condemner, and lead by the best example you can of what is respectful to yourself and others, because we are all sacred beings living the fragile precious gift of life. It is wise not to condemn someone, while you refuse to admit you might be flawed yourself. Forgiveness, including self forgiveness is a virtue! Just leave Divine Justice in the hands of the Divine, it will balance, focus on your own bright tomorrow not on ill wishing. Realize people are people, and do not condemn them for humaness, also don't be so hard on yourself either. Each is unique, and all are able and acceptable to be as they are.

Just be kind!

Let it Go or Let it Flow?

Conjuring up images from a popular song, hold that thought, and consider those words all of them, what are they really saying?...

What if go is not associated with to leave or get gone, but to be in flow with or allow to flow?...

Consider for a moment what we mean or feel when we say “go.” Is it an action command, or a release? Flow makes you think of what comes to you or releases from you, like with water in a river or poured from a pitcher to a cup. Instead of holding back it is a welcome release or open vessel, enabling flow. It should bring positive feelings. Sometimes when we think of the action go, we feel that we must rid ourselves of something, or be different somehow. No, you are perfect as you are! Release those negative feelings, and welcome in the good. That, is Flow! So, let us say “Let it Flow” instead of “Let it Go!”

May your desires Flow with Ease in Faith into Place.

Brightest Blessings!

Are You Hexed?

Witches are Not Hexing you, they've got better things to do...

As a Metaphysical symbol, the Cauldron represents the feminine nurturing divine Earth sustaining energies.

Do you think witchcraft has been negatively directed towards you specifically?

Odds are likely Not the case. Most modern self considered witches are busy dealing with their own life events. They care for their children, go to work, mind their own business. You are far from their minds. They are just regular people like you, worried about all the same things. It is typically not recommended to wish ill will towards others, lest you deal with the karmic lessons of the same ill wishes. As far as magical intent goes, even a negative thought or word will likely have very little real impact. Maybe it was a bad week, day, or month, but we can’t just blame everyone else for our own misfortunes. Sometimes you might sense bad energy around you, but it is possible that we actually accidentally create or draw that to ourselves through our moods. A prayer, cleansing bath, clean the room, waft a favorite scent, or light a favorite candle, and you should find you feel better. That was not a so called witchcraft attack! We like to blame outside sources, it is human nature, but although environmental situations may be involved and sometimes things happen, it is our perspective Not any witch that must be dealt with. It is good to remember it will change, and yes it will be positive! Believe in the best and find it drawn to you. Accept and pray, be responsible, and know it is not your fault or anyone else. Work at seeing the outcome you desire, visualize small steps towards it, feel what it would feel like to actually be there, and take a deep breath. No, it is not easy to accept, but please stop blaming the local witch for everything, they could do without your bad intents, thoughts, and moods affecting their environment. No one needs negativity in their lives. Try putting positivity out into the world for everyone.

What do you do about others’ negative thoughts and those negative vibing witches?

Pray to be surrounded by positivity. Get out your candle, fave scent, and broom and sweep those vibes right out your door and shut it. Keep your mood up, and know that the Divine is on your side. Yes, you can get yourself an anti-hex oil or charm, you can hang feng shui mirrors, you can cast/pray against it, but know that it is not as important as the first step of clearing your own bad energy!

Stay positive, be blessed, brightest blessings!

Love,

History of Witchcraft

First, let us not pass judgement...

Bible Gateway Matthew 7 :: NIV. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

I am about to write of historic fact and opinion, please understand facts are facts, and history is history and can not be changed...

What is Witchcraft NOT! Are Witches really Evil?

Is Witchcraft Incantation?

Incantation is actually prayers, as are chants, songs, and any intentioned words. However, when it is spoken of incantation, and ill intent that is truly the realm of

Envy, Jealousy, and Hatred, which are not of Witchcraft! These are the ill words spoken, ill thoughts purposeful and unconsciously made against others, these are what are referred to as Witchcraft and of witches and warlocks. All people have good and bad intent, all should strive to stay positive in intent, but sometimes there are bad people who do not, that has nothing to do with any group of people as a whole.  Perhaps, we need more words or new words to describe such things. Although puritans believed witches to be associated with devils and negative spirit, witchcraft is actually associated with nature which is of God created. So, no innately witches are not Evil, unless they are one of a minority of purposefully ill intentioned individuals.

Poison is Evil, Herbs are Not. Wrong is Wrong, and Right is Right, but be sure you are clear about the meaning in and of the words...

Anything can be used as evil, but that does not make it evil. God spoke against poisoning and killing through poisoning, not actually against herbalism or anything we may call witchcraft as we know it. God spoke against predicting future, without  seeking answers from God first, and of superstition, God wasn’t talking about messages from crossed over loved ones, using divination as we see it in the modern world today in path-working, or so called magic. When you seek of your own inner wisdom, finding a new perspective, seek to know higher intent in your life, search for solace and past wisdom, or meditate or pray to connect with the divine these divinations are not without seeking God first, but of looking for the Divine within us, around us, and guiding us. Don't be superstitious, but a few quirky traditions to build your confidence such as: knock on wood three times to refute saying something negative (which you should always refute), or a pinch of salt after a spill over the left shoulder to chase evil from your back, likely will do no harm to you. It is when you believe broken mirrors, which actually are an omen of protection, are bad luck etc. There is only one luck, good and bad fortune, but truly it is all okay, and usually leads to prosperous tomorrows. Be fortunate, and stay positive.

A Bit of Historic Drama...

There was a political judgement against differing cultural practices automatically viewed as evil for being unknown and different, and therefore evil. Words were misunderstood and used as excuses to kill people instead of to not judge others or love thy neighbour, but to promote hatred instead. It was very political in the past, and today promotes hatred.

A Side Note on Another Type of Magic...

As a side thought, those magicians in Egypt were illusionists, and of course no illusion could stand up against the real power of God, that doesn’t mean illusionists are evil. Egyptians were hated politically for slavery and mistreatment of others, so everything about them was seen as evil.

Every culture has good and bad people, let us rise above and act as a whole community, instead of one divided. Let's remember and never repeat history, but know of it and learn from it. The Divine will rejoice in our love.

Obedience

What is Obey, or Obedience?

What is the true meaning of Obedience?

The True meaning of obedience is in the key of Faith. Obedience is actually about trust, believing, and staying honest. In relationships to obey means respecting the other person and having trust in the relationship. The respect and trust is what being faithful is truly about. Respecting enough to be honest, kind, and dedicated from your heart. That, is true fidelity, meaning support, devotion, and faithfulness. Faith is believing and trusting, which puts it all hand in hand.

What does a call to Obey really mean?

When we are asked to obey it is all about the respect with trust to do what in your heart is honest, believing, and supportive, in other words what you feel would honor and be in right action. In this way, you are faithful, obedient, and believe. It should feel positive not dutiful, because it is coming from the heart and not the will. It is all about honest intentions, staying respectful, and building trust and faith.

How does the true meaning of "Obey" apply...

So what should you do when asked to obey or be obedient? In any situation there may be an exception at times, but see that deviations are forgiven through honesty, and are only made in honest mistake or by following right action for that situation. No one is perfect, and that is not what it is about. Whether in scriptures or in law see that you remember that in law it is about respect and safety, and that in scripture try applying the word "faith" or "trust" or "believe" in place of the word obey. You may find new meaning in what you are reading and applying in your life situations.

Brightest Blessings.

Angel Numbers

When everything around us is numbered, passages in our holy books, pages in our date books, it is no wonder that numbers might seem to follow us repeatedly throughout our days. It is wise not to purposefully seek them, but if you notice an interesting repeated number or significant date that appears again upon random glances at your clock, again on your shopping totals, again somewhere else, perhaps a bit of contemplation may be in order. Does the number mean something to you? Is it someone’s birthday, a favorite scripture, a favorite lucky number, does it maybe have a spiritual significance, what were you thinking when you saw it? All those questions are worth exploring.

I have felt compelled to share from my own experience with repeating numbers, I have found uncommon meanings, and developed little affirmations to say when noticing these synchronous numbers frequently.
