What do you gain from Prayer?

Does Prayer have a Gain?

It has been argued that prayer is not about what you gain, but in what you lose. Prayer May shake off a multitude of negative emotions, disturbances, and negative attitudes, including fear, but it does gain you something. Prayer gains you Peace. Prayerful habits and meditations, chanting, or even dare we say incanting or singing for that matter is a behavior that brings with it peace of mind and spirit. We get caught up in the negatives and miss the Big points that Faith brings, which are healing, hope, peace and ultimately, joy! Prayers do get answered, and through prayer we learn patience. Along the way we shake off the muck that is all that negative baggage that weighs us down. Prayer allows us to see the light in life and reclaim our rights to joy and peace.

Stay Prayerful,

Love,

Tattoo and Rebellious Spirit…

Wellness in Mind, Body & Spirit

Mindfulness…

Let’s consider a few thoughts. To treat oneself sacredly is in self care, mindfulness, and wellness. How is judging ourselves and others based on appearance mindfulness? Spirit is spiritual and of the inner self, therefore what does the outer self have to do with how goodly spiritual someone is? Our bodies require respect and care for us to be strong, healthy, and enjoy life in wellness, but is how we dress really important?

It is not our exterior that makes us humble, but our inner self. The perception of judging others based on what they choose to wear, what color something is, what style they represent themselves in, or what piercings or tattoos they might have is a failure of respect and compassion. We can’t just assume how someone looks as defining their intellect, heart, soul, or behavior choices. Self expression should be a freedom. It may be that at certain times certain appearance choices may be more appropriate, but how we look does not affect our ability to do a job, respect others, or how pure our souls may be.

Tattoos, piercings, unusual makeup, and how we dress are ways in which we express ourselves and are not things that truly matter in spiritual significance.

Vivid color makeup, self expression, black lipstick, flamboyant nail wear, wild jewelry, have nothing to do with how good a person is or is not. These things are just details that allow self expression, creativity, fun, confidence for a soul to feel free. Often, choices can even be meaningful or sacred to the individual. No one should be judged for choosing one color, style, detail over another.

We were all made uniquely and that is what makes us so incredible. It is our different perceptions, abilities, views, that give us strength, ingenuity, and empower us when united. Unfortunately, we are too busy being divided over every petty little difference. We fail to see the grand vision of our diversity.

Being true to yourself and your inner self should be what matters most.

Judging others based on appearance falls gravely short on spiritual values.

The Divine is not concerned about your outward appearance, but with your intentions, heart, and inner truths.

It is truly not what is on the outside, but what is inside. Someone could look perfect on the outside and be terribly awful, ugly, cruel, heartless on the inside. Also, someone could look like a monster on the outside, but be the kindest, sweetest, most gentle and loving person. A clean perfect body as Divinely given, could house a very evil corrupt soul, despite appearances.

As a child, I realized this when watching the Nutcracker suite portrayed. The Mouse King was beautiful, but did terrible, cruel and evil things. I realized then, that sometimes evil is beautiful, that just because something looks good does not mean it is.

Wellness in Body…

Tattoos & Piercings

To some it is sometimes a sacred act to get a piercing or a tattoo, but one should always meditate and take time to self reflect respectfully of oneself first to keep such acts sacred and not based on whims.

No less a sacred body view, but some feel that since the body is a temporary vessel for the soul, that the exterior of the body is not of consequence and treat body modification as a form of self sacrifice, expression, or are not so concerned in general with tattoos and piercings.

Henna tattoos that are simply makeup or temporary are a respectful practice in sacred reflection or purpose, and can be an option for some, that we should still refrain from judgement against.

Piercing has been used in self sacrifice practice and sacredly, also in signs of covenant or commitment. All ear piercings have medical benefits, if you are familiar with the acupuncture and acupressure of the ear in auriculotherapy. No one should be judged for having or not having piercings. It is not a harmful act, and is a sacred practice, that is very misunderstood.

On Eating Habits

Sometimes we eat things for enjoyment and not necessity, or because of a fond memory regardless of the health of the food item. That could still be sacred respect of the body, if done in mindfulness, reflection, and kept in moderation and not overly indulgent. Why do we chastise ourselves so harshly, when moderation, discipline, and mindfulness are really what we should be focusing on. Of course balanced and healthy choices should predominate our decisions, but we need not beat up our hearts and self punish and judge ourselves. Sometimes it is not about what we eat, but our joy, happy memories, and traditions.

Conclusion in Reflection…

I believe in self expression. I have never cared who judged me. I like being different. Different is not a bad thing. I love vivid colors in my makeup, and don’t judge others for how they choose to express themselves. I have always preferred to utilize accessories I can take back off, as opposed to semi permanent decisions. I love the versatility of being who I feel like at any given time, and still being able to quick change to my original look. To wear an unexpected makeup color because it matches my mood or outfit, or perhaps it expresses something poetic in thought for me, is a freedom I love expressing. I often change my fashion style to reflect my many moods, but try to do so respectfully. These things do not make me bad, or less sacred. These things just make me, me.

Divine Ever True

  • Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
  • For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed. (Malachi 3:6)
  • God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? (Numbers 23:19)
  • The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)
  • Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)
  • Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. (Psalm 90:2)

Unchanging God

In my studies in Divinity, theology, history of religion, myth, literature, anthropology, and culture, I have witnessed in the Divine ever the same, whether in Holy Trinity or Character, regardless of our perceptions be in gender, holy family, culture, there are these beautiful interrelated tellings of the great Divine by differing peoples throughout all time. The Divine is seemingly always the same one and only. Not considering the name used, description given, only that the Divine is ever present, ever the same and ever true. In God the Father, God the Mother, God in Trinity, God with Holy family,  God the Light/Spirit/Energy/Flame, often with a resurrected child and children and creations, but always the same God. The Divine seen as provider, redeemer, resurrectionist, restorer, deliverer, Father/Mother, miracle worker, power etc. and the Faithful, Merciful, Steadfast Loving, Enduring, Patient, Preserver, Protector etc. of Grace is through our faith all things possible, ever-present help able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can perceive. In this, should be great faith undivided in a Divine energy that lives through, around, and beyond us.

The Bible

It may be argumentable, but it is apparent that for whatever may be the reason or cause that there are bits of a multitude of faiths in the Bible, much like the English language that has roots of many varied languages in its development. It should be a unifying not a dividing text by nature. The goal in the gospel was to promote love, compassion, forgiveness, encouragement, yet it often is sadly not used this way. A faith that has spread by adopting traditions can’t seek to cleanse itself of that which helped its tree grow. It may have many branches, but it thrives and flourishes with them all. All that matters is in love of the Divine, patience with the self, forgiveness, repentance, and love and compassion for others. The adopted bits enrich not harm the strength of faith. It is in unison that we grow strong together. In preserving all with all the differing bits is the strength in the Divine. We should strive to learn compassion for differences and respect all rather than tear ourselves apart. Be strengthened in the Divine Grace, embracing that which we are and that which came before us. The Always the same God has never and will never change.

God Never Changes, Lies, or Fails.

Think you are delayed? Think Again!

Blaming everything for a so-called delay in manifestation? Stop! Rethink!

Timing is not really up to you, when it comes to receiving something held in faith. There is a trend of suggesting all sorts of activities are to blame, and for some that might be if the activities are not treated with respect, moderation, and from the right heart placement. The big key here, is in the old idea of moderation!

Are you addicted?

Yes, anything can be in excess and you can be “drunk or addicted” of it! When not abused, a tool be it prayers with any fellowship** or other tools like: tarot and astrology.*** Also consider addictive tools such as: sacramental/celebratory wine, magic practices, Angel numbers.**** Any and all tools are not evil things preventing your success, but do not abuse them. Be sure to seek the higher self/Divine first pray, meditate etc.

One way to seek the Divine is…

Do you daily Bible study? Did a particular passage strike differently or stand out? Consider such things as you go about your day, and live balanced in spirit. Key things to keep in mind are respect, discipline, moderation, maybe even fasting or grounding.

Perhaps, instead of judging everyone and everything we do with so much hatred and critical judgement, we need to hold a space of more love.

As energy goes good speed keys are to relax, pray, focus, rest, make ready in spirit, open your heart, clean, act as your heart guides, harbor forgiveness, reflect and be repentative (forgive yourself), heal, prepare in knowledge, learn, be thankful, these are your speed keys!

Remember Put your faith in the Divine Not the tool, with discipline and moderation as a guiding rule.

We do not need to remove the tools or fear them, but respect and moderate them. Even the Bible has been a misused tool to hurt, isolate, or harm others promoting violence and hate, which is the opposite intent of the Gospel. The tools are not bad, keep your intent focused and your use not abuse in check!

No tools are causing your delays, it is just the perfect Divine timing lining up all the pieces you can not see!

Still think you are delayed…

Remember the Divine, be grateful, and remember everyone else’s keys (approaches or ways of doing or thinking) may not fully work for you; you must also seek out your own keys and add gratitude, then delay will no longer be a factor.

Build faith πŸ’—

Love,

Reverend Priestess Amy Chris/Lueya

** (intrigued by intuitive prophetic prayers? Remember the main intent is in fellowship and spoken blessings, which can only bring good and encouragement. Note actions you take with them should be in good faith, and also can only bring good. It does not matter what you think is or is not real here, but be respectful. This also applies to your local intuitive. *side thought, despite my understanding in metaphysics, I prefer the word intuitive)

*** (By the way, astrology was an ancient tool of personality analysis, still sometimes useful in understanding types of personalities in different situations. I personally have never found it predictive, although Vedic astrology is fascinating in that respect. It once was a science, and science was once an art, which says something)

**** (be sure they actually are repeating! Do not just time yourself to watch the clock or purposely seek them out. Often numbers relate back to scripture, an important date, or a journal entry. I number and date my journaling)

Balance is Key!

Have you heard the value that you have to work hard?

What does it really mean? And, how does it apply to purpose?

The notion is to be disciplined, diligent, and dedicated to not necessarily take the path well trodden, but to be brave and bold. It is not always about hard work or hard labor, sacrifice and hardship, but in learning, striving and willingness. That is the way of righteousness with added ethics, morals, virtues, beliefs that give good character and promote compassion, love and kindness. Sometimes it is about finding and creating tools or new ways to make it easier to achieve more freedom and time or relieve stress and anxiety, promoting good health. There are times and seasons, and everyone’s path is different. Some are not made physically strong, but are certainly not weak or lacking discipline for not being able to work as physically hard as others. We judge ourselves too harshly in misunderstanding the meaning and intent of our values. We should strive to be dedicated not strive for pain and anguish. Strive to be there for life and not spend life stressing and watching it pass us by. Learn balance in all things and achieve more, live life.

So it is not about hard work, or how hard you work, you can work to tears with no results, it is about dedication, willingness, and daring to learn, try new things and ways, create, and be different. There is a time to take a well trodden path and a time to create a new way. Let us stop promoting hardship as glory and normal, and start finding new ways to actually live in harmony and joy with peace.

What is purpose?

Purpose is not just found in service, charity and to bless others, but also in being who you are authentically to be your own unique purpose. You should not just conform or justify, but be uniquely you. Life is about love, about life, the wonder of life, the joy of life to do as what brings joy into your heart, to paint your world with the beauty and colors you bring into it, to inspire and to experience the joy. Life is not for struggle, for hardship, for sacrifice, and service. Helping others is good, but life is given to you for you. Live, love, be joyful. Abundance is perfectly okay. Seek the Divine, seek higher wisdom, seek your true self and find purpose, seek joy and find wonder, beauty, love, and the Divine. You deserve all to be all the colors that you are. To shine your light, and paint with your rainbow. Shine your light and colors out into the world. Be the blessing that you are! To share that inspiring blessing with the world.

Should we seek joy?

Life is about love and joy, because love and joy bring peace! The wonder of life inspires and shared inspiration beautifies the world. All colors matter! Also, age is no limitation, it is never too late in the Divine purpose in life.

Always be true authentic you, you are you for a reason that matters in ways no mind could ever comprehend; keep being amazing you!

So, work hard but not always in hardship! Keep in mind that ease isn’t actually evil, and that balance and what we do with our freedom is what matters most. Also, most of all be you, and do it your way!

Remember hard work in character building and spirituality is righteous and powerful.

Invocation

What is invocation?

Considering the concept of invocation…
Invocation is calling on the spirit energy as opposed to evoking, which is summoning the presence of spirit energy into tangible form. It is far more positive in energy workings, prayers, and other spiritual practices to invoke, rather than evoke.
Invocation is calling on anything that is or has ever existed in spirit, energy, or thought. Anything you can imagine, visualize, create, think of, or believe may be invoked. Characters of stories, animal spirit, nature spirit, Saints, angels, and even mythical creatures, are all possible to be invoked. Calling on the Holy Spirit is invocation. Projecting thoughtforms is part of invocation. So called familiar/pet (not demon) spirit helpers, golem spirit protectors, are just a few types of spirit invocation that is commonly referred to. Tiki spirits and totem spirits are also types.

Why invoke?

Invocation is often used to send messages, requests, petitions, and other communications with the Divine. Invocation is also used to promote protection, wealth, positive energy and other goals. Invoking certain energies is thought to project intention and magnify your thoughts amplified to the Divine for assistance. The idea is to call on spirit to help intercede and work for your good, whether to assist a goal or help a prayer be louder. Invocation can also be symbolic, utilizing imagery to promote the idea behind a story, meaning of that symbol to focus your intention as you pray. Imagery may be a picture, a statue, something of a particular color etc. with imagery rely on imagination and the possibilities are limitless. It is all about what the image or construct means to you, to magnify your intentions and focus your prayers for your own benefit.

No, you are not worshipping the symbols you are using for expression, you are calling on the energy around you that matches your intents and goals to magnify what you want to attract into your life.

Brightest Blessings

*Side Note* in biblical reference Wizard referred to illusionist, familiar spirits referred to demons only, and mediums meant those speaking with demons Not ancestors.

Again, please stop believing ancient mistranslation, and applying it to all modern so called witches. Those that are Not purposely calling demons and practicing harm onto others, are not at all what the Bible was talking about. Also study the history, know about the mass slaughtering of innocent people, and stop persecuting everyone that is different. These so called occult practitioners are not purposely, willfully or maliciously out to hurt you or themselves. You are not even on their minds. You do not have to agree or accept them, but you also should not judge or persecute them. The occult in the Bible is not what we call occult today, these are two related but entirely different ways. Do some possibly practice the occult of the Bible? It may be possible, but they are not a majority, and persecuting everyone is just not the practice of loving and blessing others, that is the most important rule of all. Stop promoting modern day witch hunts. There are too many negative realities in the world right now, and the modern day peace loving witches are not the problem. Anything fueling hatred is not a help for saving the world. Love one another and be kind.

Witchcraft Is

Simple Principles: Incantation is a form of Prayer, as is chant and song. All supernatural, miracle, and magic things come from the Divine, and the Divine spirit is within Nature and created Nature as the Divine created and is in all things.

A Witch is Not as defined according to the meaning of a woman who has a compact with some evil spirit who aids to establish evil things using malicious spirit for malicious ends.

In the ancient text not only was Withcraft Not always disapproved of, but the actual word intentioned in reference to evil ways was Sorcery as known by ancient Eastern Asian Mysticism (and Egyptian Illusionists acting to create fear and deception for negative and manipulative intentions). A specific form of spirit communication for answers (not messages from loved ones or ancestors), but done manipulatively and with Negative intent or Evil energies in a way that avoided asking the high Divine first, and ignoring the Holy Spirit of the higher self, was also referred to as negative witchcraft.

As long as the one higher Divine is acknowledged and understood, Witch and Witchcraft is actually turning to the transmutation Divine spirit and energy within the Divine in Nature all around us and given to us to utilize to promote positive and good into our lives for healing, joy, love and all other good things with focus in intention, projecting to the Divine from the desires of the heart for good and not for evil, for protection and not to cause harm. The key is in intention, to bless and not willfully curse. It is part of life in things such as cooking, sewing, quilting, music, art, and prayer, and Not evil at all! Making witchcraft just a part of life.

All Forms of Prayer

Prayer - a reverent petition, praise and expression of gratitude to a Divine source in worship, thanks, blessing wish, or intentional request in hope and faith with trust and belief.

What types of prayers are known?

Prayers may be spoken or silent. All chants, incantations, declarations, affirmations, songs, meditation, visualizations, confessions, and words made with intention and especially heartfelt are all prayers.

Invoke, Praise, Trust, and Ask in Faith and with Thanksgiving. Always Ask with pure heartfelt intention including community and Divine purpose, the reason behind the why and possibly a deeper meaning beyond that, feel it, discuss it in your prayer and trust that you are heard and your needs will be met.

Believe & Receive

Know your purpose and survival will always be enabled in Faith and Trust from a grateful heart.

What is Longsuffering?

A bit of bible study…

“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.” Colossians 3:12

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23

Is Longsuffering a reference to suffering?

Simply, no. Longsuffering is another word for patience, and although waiting and being patient may be difficult and may cause it’s own suffering in a way, it actually is not about suffering at all. It is about having faith and trust and exercising patience in your situation. In the definition of Longsuffering it means to be patient, to be calm and not rash. Keeping calm, centering yourself, attempting to maintain composure and peace through prayer and honoring but checking emotions is all part of the patience of longsuffering.

Thoughts on a few other older words…

Meek means gentle, and Submissive means to trust or allow in a consensual manner. When considering meaning, context and older usage of words in older texts requires understanding through examining what the words are saying not just to you, but why those words were chosen to describe their purpose and intent. It was considered virtuous to be gentle and compassionate in nature, and to be agreeable and considerate (consensual and allowing and trusting). Without meekness and submissiveness neither virtue may be practiced.

Actual suffering is referenced with a promise of restoration and being established.

1 Peter 5:10, NIV: And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

1 Peter 5:10, ESV: And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

1 Peter 5:10, KJV: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

1 Peter 5:10, NLT: In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.

Idol Worship

What is idol worship, verses in comparison with Graven images…

First a graven image is an inscription or image on a surface of stone or marble with flower, human or animal form. When referring to idol worship (not referring to statues or artworks) in that the object of the graven image itself is worshipped as opposed to God (not seeking God first), and not as in inspiration, focus for prayer point intent, or in admiration of traits and in respect. Graven images used outside of worship as a symbol of intent are not idol worship, since the worship focus is still the higher Divine.

Is Idolizing your favorite person Idol worship?

To idolize is to admire, revere, and love greatly. In admiring traits of your favorite celebrity, being inspired by them, loving and adoring them for what they are or represent or even for their accomplishments is not Idol worship. Even if you express reverence and adoration (worship) for your favorite star, hoping that their magical aura and admired traits would rub off on you, you are still only idolizing not idol worshiping. Only when you take a graven image and pray to the image without involving the Divine, do you practice Idol worship. It is praying to the symbol as opposed to focusing intention to pray to the Divine first, that is idol worship. To worship is to praise, bow to in reverence and honor. Don’t bow to statues.

The golden calves in the Bible were created to represent a God figure to bow and worship to instead of the Divine. They were not created as a house of Holy Spirit or as art, but as a graven image that was then worshipped. This explains what idol worship actually was.

Idols…

The little statues, depictions of saints, artworks etc. are not graven idol worship. In truth, these things are just beautiful artworks to inspire us, to help us focus, and to reflect upon; while, remembering that the Divine inspired someone and worked through that someone giving them also the talent to create that art.
All art is inspired by the Divine, and all art should be treated knowing that the Divine had purpose for that art.

As far as Saints go, to be inspired by the story constructs or to pray for intercession should not be idolatry. Saints were once intercessors on Earth to seek out and pray with, as former holy figures considered ascended to be near the Divine, they are still considered to be intercessors. Intercessors are prayer partners to agree with you and empower a Divine response. When two agree, it will be done (paraphrase Matthew 18:19). Your prayers are still directed at the one and only Great Divine.

Additional thoughts…

When considering idolatry, it can mean a lot of different things to different people. It is on the other hand avoidable by seeking the Divine or even the higher self first through your preferred method of prayer. Follow your heart, seek truth, and trust in what you find there. In our world of information overload there is a lot of noise, and sometimes in that overwhelm it is easy to get lost, confused, misguided, or frustrated. Clarity always comes from inner truth and higher wisdom.

We can’t apply idol worship to any and all things that we give time to besides the Divine. Who says, oh no I cooked, I worked, I cared for my baby, I betrayed the Divine? Just focus on some gratitude throughout the day, apply some mindfulness, and realize that unless you do or love to the complete exclusion of the Divine, you can’t be idol worshipping accidentally. Keep in mind all you do, especially if you love what you do, or if it is in service are ways in which the Divine works with and through us, not just in our conscious efforts to do Divine works. Considering favorite hobbies, talents, caring for your home, family idols prevents the Divine from working through what you do in life. Instead, just be grateful and dare to hold love in your heart for the Divine and all that is in your life. There are many kinds of love, and love is a beautiful commandment and guide for our greater good.

What about Love?

What and who you love, as long as the Divine has your greatest love can’t be idolatry, for there are no rules in love. A good check and balance to live by is to make the Divine and gratitude part of everything you do no matter how small. Thank the great Divine for all you cherish, and idolatry is not a concern. God never said we couldn’t love anything else, or that we could not have anything, or that we could not enjoy anything, God said to love, to be joyful, to live abundantly. You may love life, and feel grateful for it, that should be a good thing. You may honor your parents or cherish your family or loved ones, it is a commandment to honor your parents and family is a virtue. We need to stop overthinking and attempting to superimpose old constructs onto every new or current thing, and remember not to overthink and judge everything looking for some reason to chastise ourselves or blame ourselves for some misfortune. Everything can’t be an idol, and as long as the Divine has a place in your heart, and gratitude from you, you should be on the right path away from idolatry.

Brightest Blessings…

A side thought about the what ancients considered idols of the past… In Hindu temples to bless the sacred space they pray to empower an artwork object with Divine spirit as the holy house for the Divine to dwell (we call it an idol) and the then Divinely blessed object sanctifies the temple. To them, it is Divine spirit existing present on Earth. We bless our temples, the buildings, or set up alters to call on Divine spirit to be with us in houses to hold Holy Spirit. They worship the Divine, not really the “idol,” but we call it idol worship? I believe we need to set aside judgement of others and ourselves and trust in the Great Divine of higher thoughts and wisdom, who created us all to be the judge. We can keep the Divine in our hearts and still live in the world, and with a little effort maybe some greater kindness to ourselves and others.

What are seeds?

Considering Seed Sowing for Blessings…

Or the Concept of giving or of service…

First do not confuse seeds with tithing, which is not under the new order of Grace that speaks of cheerful giving from the heart and ends the old law and ways. Tithing actually should also be known for sharing of anything such as service, time, volunteering, fund-raising events, kind acts, stating blessings of kindness towards others, prayers for others, any charity etc. Seeds are entirely different. It is the concept that in planting with intent, the intent grows with what you sow. In scripture, even tears are seeds that sow and later reap in harvest of joy for balance. A seed can be a charitable act from the heart, money given, blessings made in faith given from the heart for others, prayers for others, even heartfelt intentions to do or give, and actual planting for the symbolism; also anything you do in service to the good of others, the greater good or for service to your faith and your belief in the Divine etc. The idea is that seeds multiply or ensure blessings into tangible manifestations for anything good that is hoped, wished or spoken for the life of the giver. It is a long standing principle that what you give returns to you in expected and unexpected ways, often multiplied back to you. The same generosities, services, sharing, praying, blessing, heartfelt intentions, and acts of kindness are thought to help maintain blessings. You may not always reap back exactly what you sow, because you receive what you need first. Seeds should always be sown from the heart. The act of support and giving is superior to the idea of taxing (tithes).

I have always heart-fully held the idea that support, donation, and service is a better notion than to say tithe. My family heritage spoke of acts of service for the church instead of necessarily giving money, which could possibly be too high minded a thought.

Brightest Blessings!

Still curious about tithes? This is a beautiful article: https://www.clintonnc.com/uncategorized/15364/the-misconception-of-tithing-part-one

To Be in Expectation

What is expectation in faith and trust, or manifestation?

Expectation is a part of faith. It is in trust and belief that is beyond what is easily perceived tangibly. To be in expectation is to through trust act in faith, following your heart and intuition. It is experienced in the act of nurturing hope through prayer with the faith in what is asked is already done.

How do you act in expectation?

Acts may include such actions as rest, a simple chore, embracing a talent, researching an interest, learning, discovering, prayer, meditation, just being grateful and remembering your blessings, and getting ready (more on being prepared later). It is not just the obvious steps and actions moving forward in pursuit of a goal. Sometimes, actions may involve getting out and doing, but that could be as simple as acting as if from the perspective of what would a you who already has whatever it is be doing? Being or attempting responsible actions and doing the best you can are also staying in faith, and are enough. These actions are what it means to be expectant.

Are you ready?

You do not always have to be ready or prepared to see results in your requests or manifestations. Are you feeling called to be prepared? Do research, learn a skill, make a list, seek out an answer. For example: such as in a purchase, what would it cost? Where do you buy one? Are there other options? Or, Who do you hire to complete the desired task? Take some time to compare and question. Plan out some action steps, even if you don’t know how, or the whole picture, list out what you do know or need. Organize, prepare yourself, prepare your environment, and keep in mind there is no right or wrong way. Also, do some self care, allow for self healing, or self reflection to grow in character. Trust in your instinct, and where your heart leads. Learn how to expand, grow, nurture, maintain, cultivate, or even keep what you are praying for like a child before acquiring a first pet. Do not do things because you think you must, or because it hurts it must be good. Negativity always causes delays, so don’t force yourself, punish yourself, or take actions not aligned with your own heart. Most of all be grateful for all you have, have had, and are asking for. You are not here to be like everyone else, you are here to be you and do right by you, while respecting everything and especially the divine energy in and all around you. Respect is always good. Remember to respect and honor you too! Follow peace and seek where peace is and leads you.

Brightest Blessings!

Prayer For Abundance and Generousity

Prayer for Covenant St. Nicholas

In gratitude we share
In faith we trust our abundance
Blessed by Grace our gifts increase
We are golden, filled with love, hope and joy
We calm the storms and banish fears
Promoting Justice and defending all that is right
Blessing the children and in our Covenant of Wealth
Our generousity blossoms a fruitful, continuous harvest,
And coming Abundance, multiplied and doubled
Praise Lord God Father, thanks onto Sachiel, Saint Nicholas, and Saint Joseph
Our whole house and family are blessed now and forevermore…
Amen, Shalom.

Everything is of the Divine

Everything is Part of the Divine

Within you, and without you (all around you and within all other living things), all you and others create, and all that is, is with Divine purpose and spirit.

Every faith, every God/dess name, Saint, Angel, holy figure, good spirit, messenger of God, and synchronicity is of God/Divine/Universe. Every prayer, meditation, chant, incantation, affirmation, manifestation practice, spell, it is all ways to pray/communicate to and of God. If God created all things, then it must be so. If we hold the truth that God is in Everything and Everywhere, there is no other way to perceive.

Intention Determines Faith

Intention is key, Faith is key. Believing in any part of God could never be evil, it is how you use it, your intention. Do not judge others for how they pray, what path, or faith they follow. They are not acting against God, when it is all of and for God. God is patient, we should learn to be. It is good to share in what truths God has given you, and of your spiritual wisdoms and ways, but not good to expect or force these onto the one you are sharing with. God did not make us all the same, but all of God. One way may be preferred, but we can’t assume we know God’s every thought. All paths exist as part of God’s plan, and everyone’s path is different. It all fits together for the good of all.

Love one another, and refrain from judgement.

Abundance is Positive

Abundance Requires Gratitude

Abundance is not forbidden, but should be felt gratefully appreciated, and overflow should be shared from the heart.

Beware the Spirit of Guilt

It is all right to be abundant, do not let the spirit of guilt overshadow and steal your joy. Greed is chasing the next big, shiny thing without first appreciating or being grateful for what you are already blessed with. In our disposable, consumer driven world, sometimes we get caught up in a current that promotes waste and we forget to be grateful. Where there is gratitude, greed does not dwell, but sometimes we judge ourselves harshly, we feel we are unworthy or feel judged by a world attempting to purify itself. Have you judged or condemned your neighbor for seemingly greed? Without knowing their heart, life story, or intentions, you should not project this spirit of guilt. It is not how much we have that makes us greedy or holy, but whether we are generous or unsharing. True it is not the stuff you have to enjoy in life, but  sharing and enjoying the stuff with a grateful heart. The time spent with loved ones, being inspired, grateful, utilizing the tools we are given to share our talents with the world, is what the stuff is all about. It is not how much or how little, to each their own, but it is your heart and intentions that matter most of all. Do not be tempted to judge yourself or others so very harshly, life is hard enough and short enough, that it is perfectly all right to be abundant and enjoy, as long as you are abundant in spirit, kindness, and generosity as well.

What is Avarice?

Avarice is the extreme greed for wealth and gain, for its sake alone. Intentions to be enabled to fulfill a purpose, be provided for, free of debt or worry, to fulfill a need, to be enabled for further generosity and charity, are not avarice! It is okay to pray for such provisions in abundance for such intentions. It is not the benign energetic tool of money, but the intention or love of it alone to exclusion of all else without Divine placed first, is what is avarice.

Positive Faith Verses Toxic Positivity

What is Toxic Positivity?

There is a trend to force yourself to view all things positively far beyond looking for the silver lining or cracking a joke. It may be true that all things work out for our good, or come round right eventually, but when emotions are not honored or even repressed you may be causing yourself harm by being too positive. Consider when you may be grieving and you repress your feelings to be strong, or when something goes wrong you take an apathetic and forced gratitude about being okay with it. Sometimes well intentioned words or positive affirmations might emphasize or add to the underlying strife instead. It is more important to honor each feeling, move through and flow with it, and when it is positive follow through with positive action. When it isn’t allow the feeling to be, take a moment to recall a happy thought or time, and do something that brings out some better feelings. It is okay if you need rest that day instead of action. Rest is an action, and so is prayer. You shouldn’t push yourself without first allowing for the self care. We live in a world that causes us to feel guilty for taking any time for ourselves, that doesn’t encourage healthy boundaries or limits, and convinces us that if we are not in active pursuit constantly, we are somehow not doing enough. These are very unhealthy notions.

Positive Faith is Different

Having positive faith is more about trust, believing that the best is possible, and allowing space to expect the positive to happen. It isn’t about repressing, it is just believing, trusting, and relaxing in good faith. Positive faith teaches to pray through upsetting feelings, giving them space to exist in our lives, to be honest and accepting, but allow for better to come. Positive Faith is about promoting time to rest and allowing for letting go of a need for control, or hanging on to the stress and tension. It is a healing focused, mindful, and self honoring approach. With positive faith, affirmations are more reaffirming in belief, and are better used as part of prayers to support focus, clarity, and intent for yourself. It is okay to be angry, sad, frustrated, irritated, or confused. When there is fear or doubt, you can take power over it through acknowledgement and positive prayer affirmations, that way you are not controlled by  your negatives in life. Positive Faith is centered, balanced, and supportive, but too much positivity mindset might add frustration, stress, feelings of failure, further doubt, and exaggerate all the negatives you can’t control.

Divine Spirit is in Everything

Spirit Is In Everything

The divine energy that is the divine spirit is within you, but also within everyone. The divine spirit is also all around you in everything and everywhere, in the whole world, the whole of space, and all the cosmos too. It is a life manna that is within, without, and continuous infinitely. You can connect with it from inside yourself, but take comfort that it is also all around and beyond you. Respect that the divine spirit is also within others, and in being so is ever present and limitless.

The spirit of the divine is vast

The Divine spirit is bigger than you can imagine, and that is why it is limitless. You too should realize that through and with the divine you too may be limitless, or call on that limitlessness to support you infinitely without feeling like you are taking or asking too much. Just ask with your heart from a place of pure good intent for others and yourself.

Divine spirit lives

The spirit of the divine lives, because it is inside you and every other living thing. It is a real presence that may be felt in love, compassion, joy, and even in grief. The divine is ever present for us all. It does not matter what you call it, or how you address it, it simply is as surely as every other element that may be felt. Believe and you can achieve or receive anything that your heart requires when you need it the most. Never give up, because you deserve to be all that you are. Every living thing matters, even you! Magic is Unique - A Note on Manifestation

Magic is unique for everyone!

As an energetic quality, magic is as unique to you as your fingerprint and soul. Every person is unique, and their magic is unique to them. This fact explains how each person's perspective on the same thing is different, and why manifestation or law of attraction practices can have such varying results for each person. Each person’s key may not have the same results for another. Yet, when efforts are combined, results magnify, which is commonly found in prayer groups and results that they are able to materialize.

You are not the only fault involved…

It is also good to remember that your energy is not the only factor at play, but other energies may affect your results as well. There is an element of co-creation at play. Energy may be tended by maintaining belief in the chosen result being seen as already done, maintaining and honoring your emotions, and trusting in faith that what you want is happening for you. Believing that “of course” it is, it is possible, and focusing on the end resulting emotion and visualizing events that could only occur after achieving the desired result. Doing these things keeps you aligned with your intent.

The power of intent…

Intent is an important key, what do you intend? Stay in tune with the feeling of that intention and visualize yourself having it. The more you believe, the more powerfully you may obtain your results. Do not try to over complicate or overthink, do not dwell on missing it or how it may be, just believe it is possible to be. It is not hard, but if you repress a lot of emotion, overthink, and worry, you may create delays or add extra work for yourself. You may set an intent as often as you need to keep in belief, but do other things as if it already is without worrying.

Do affirmations help?

Affirmations are helpful and unhelpful, but stating things affirmatively is very powerful for energizing your intent. Aligned “as if” and “what would I be doing if” actions are better than affirmations. These actions require coming from a place of clarity, and a higher perspective on your intentions. Sometimes rest is an action, as it is important to maintain peace as a vibration of allowing what you want to flow to you. Receiving little versions of your desire or synchronous signs of what you are seeking illustrates your alignment with your desires, and that flow is possible for you. Keep believing, magic, faith, and the divine are with us all. Brightest blessings. May all your dreams come true.

Friday the 13th is Lucky!

Day of Fortuna, Lady Fortune or Lady Luck (Always Good and Beneficial)

Associated with good fortune, fate, destiny, and wheel of fortune; as well as, plenty, harvest, abundance, and wealth. Friday the 13th is the perfect day to turn the wheel in your favor for Lady Luck to prosper you. A figure of strength and justice, much like Goddess, Freya, the Goddess associated with Friday.

Freya, Goddess namesake of Friday...

Freya is a figure of strength, protection, power, and love. Those black cats are guardians to protect your luck from ill fortune. Friday is a day of celebration for the week's accomplishments, a day to share with loved ones, and to gather your strength for the week's end.

The wheel of Fortune...

The very thing Friday the 13th seems to concern the most. It is a day that has become known to be associated with destiny, fate, and possibility. Some fear and suggest that all fortune is negative, but there is good fortune in life. Invoking the spirit of possibility with a hopeful heart will ward off any superstitions from plaguing you. Remember, shadows disappear when light is shone upon them. Get out a flash light, and don't let fear deter you from your faith, fate, goals, and dreams. Shadows can not harm you. The idea behind the wheel is that it always turns, just as day to night, and therefore is always in motion, and impossible to stay stuck on the bottom without rising to the top. Consider, a ferris wheel, or a wheel of chance, eventually the wheel turns in your favor. Sometimes, the bottom is a blessing, and sometimes rising is where you find success. Just remember to maintain motion to keep turning, so you always move in favor.

Number 13 and the Moon...

13 is lucky for moon energy, and women, and associated with Goddess figures. It is also 1+3=4, 4 being a number of balance, and stability. 13 is often a number of completion, or of fate, and some groups view it as a lucky number and even associate the number 13 with holy figures and leaders. Clubs are occasionally 12 +1=13, the complete group and a leader. The number itself is actually very positive. There are 13 moon cycles in a year. The cycles of the moon govern tides, emotions, all things in flow, water, and human behavior. Don't be a bat on Friday the 13th, embrace the lunar positivity and shine instead! May the day find you prosperous. Brightest Blessings.

What do you gain from Prayer?

Does Prayer have a Gain? It has been argued that prayer is not about what you gain, but in what you lose. Prayer May shake off a multitude...
