What do you gain from Prayer?

Does Prayer have a Gain?

It has been argued that prayer is not about what you gain, but in what you lose. Prayer May shake off a multitude of negative emotions, disturbances, and negative attitudes, including fear, but it does gain you something. Prayer gains you Peace. Prayerful habits and meditations, chanting, or even dare we say incanting or singing for that matter is a behavior that brings with it peace of mind and spirit. We get caught up in the negatives and miss the Big points that Faith brings, which are healing, hope, peace and ultimately, joy! Prayers do get answered, and through prayer we learn patience. Along the way we shake off the muck that is all that negative baggage that weighs us down. Prayer allows us to see the light in life and reclaim our rights to joy and peace.

Stay Prayerful,

Love,

Rainbow

Here at the Covenant of Ramiel Community we claim rainbow as one of our symbols.

We came across a truly wonderful revelation article regarding God and the colors of the rainbow. Below we are sharing the link❤️๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

Tattoo and Rebellious Spirit…

Wellness in Mind, Body & Spirit

Mindfulness…

Let’s consider a few thoughts. To treat oneself sacredly is in self care, mindfulness, and wellness. How is judging ourselves and others based on appearance mindfulness? Spirit is spiritual and of the inner self, therefore what does the outer self have to do with how goodly spiritual someone is? Our bodies require respect and care for us to be strong, healthy, and enjoy life in wellness, but is how we dress really important?

It is not our exterior that makes us humble, but our inner self. The perception of judging others based on what they choose to wear, what color something is, what style they represent themselves in, or what piercings or tattoos they might have is a failure of respect and compassion. We can’t just assume how someone looks as defining their intellect, heart, soul, or behavior choices. Self expression should be a freedom. It may be that at certain times certain appearance choices may be more appropriate, but how we look does not affect our ability to do a job, respect others, or how pure our souls may be.

Tattoos, piercings, unusual makeup, and how we dress are ways in which we express ourselves and are not things that truly matter in spiritual significance.

Vivid color makeup, self expression, black lipstick, flamboyant nail wear, wild jewelry, have nothing to do with how good a person is or is not. These things are just details that allow self expression, creativity, fun, confidence for a soul to feel free. Often, choices can even be meaningful or sacred to the individual. No one should be judged for choosing one color, style, detail over another.

We were all made uniquely and that is what makes us so incredible. It is our different perceptions, abilities, views, that give us strength, ingenuity, and empower us when united. Unfortunately, we are too busy being divided over every petty little difference. We fail to see the grand vision of our diversity.

Being true to yourself and your inner self should be what matters most.

Judging others based on appearance falls gravely short on spiritual values.

The Divine is not concerned about your outward appearance, but with your intentions, heart, and inner truths.

It is truly not what is on the outside, but what is inside. Someone could look perfect on the outside and be terribly awful, ugly, cruel, heartless on the inside. Also, someone could look like a monster on the outside, but be the kindest, sweetest, most gentle and loving person. A clean perfect body as Divinely given, could house a very evil corrupt soul, despite appearances.

As a child, I realized this when watching the Nutcracker suite portrayed. The Mouse King was beautiful, but did terrible, cruel and evil things. I realized then, that sometimes evil is beautiful, that just because something looks good does not mean it is.

Wellness in Body…

Tattoos & Piercings

To some it is sometimes a sacred act to get a piercing or a tattoo, but one should always meditate and take time to self reflect respectfully of oneself first to keep such acts sacred and not based on whims.

No less a sacred body view, but some feel that since the body is a temporary vessel for the soul, that the exterior of the body is not of consequence and treat body modification as a form of self sacrifice, expression, or are not so concerned in general with tattoos and piercings.

Henna tattoos that are simply makeup or temporary are a respectful practice in sacred reflection or purpose, and can be an option for some, that we should still refrain from judgement against.

Piercing has been used in self sacrifice practice and sacredly, also in signs of covenant or commitment. All ear piercings have medical benefits, if you are familiar with the acupuncture and acupressure of the ear in auriculotherapy. No one should be judged for having or not having piercings. It is not a harmful act, and is a sacred practice, that is very misunderstood.

On Eating Habits

Sometimes we eat things for enjoyment and not necessity, or because of a fond memory regardless of the health of the food item. That could still be sacred respect of the body, if done in mindfulness, reflection, and kept in moderation and not overly indulgent. Why do we chastise ourselves so harshly, when moderation, discipline, and mindfulness are really what we should be focusing on. Of course balanced and healthy choices should predominate our decisions, but we need not beat up our hearts and self punish and judge ourselves. Sometimes it is not about what we eat, but our joy, happy memories, and traditions.

Conclusion in Reflection…

I believe in self expression. I have never cared who judged me. I like being different. Different is not a bad thing. I love vivid colors in my makeup, and don’t judge others for how they choose to express themselves. I have always preferred to utilize accessories I can take back off, as opposed to semi permanent decisions. I love the versatility of being who I feel like at any given time, and still being able to quick change to my original look. To wear an unexpected makeup color because it matches my mood or outfit, or perhaps it expresses something poetic in thought for me, is a freedom I love expressing. I often change my fashion style to reflect my many moods, but try to do so respectfully. These things do not make me bad, or less sacred. These things just make me, me.

Divine Ever True

  • Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
  • For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed. (Malachi 3:6)
  • God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? (Numbers 23:19)
  • The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)
  • Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)
  • Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. (Psalm 90:2)

Unchanging God

In my studies in Divinity, theology, history of religion, myth, literature, anthropology, and culture, I have witnessed in the Divine ever the same, whether in Holy Trinity or Character, regardless of our perceptions be in gender, holy family, culture, there are these beautiful interrelated tellings of the great Divine by differing peoples throughout all time. The Divine is seemingly always the same one and only. Not considering the name used, description given, only that the Divine is ever present, ever the same and ever true. In God the Father, God the Mother, God in Trinity, God with Holy family,  God the Light/Spirit/Energy/Flame, often with a resurrected child and children and creations, but always the same God. The Divine seen as provider, redeemer, resurrectionist, restorer, deliverer, Father/Mother, miracle worker, power etc. and the Faithful, Merciful, Steadfast Loving, Enduring, Patient, Preserver, Protector etc. of Grace is through our faith all things possible, ever-present help able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can perceive. In this, should be great faith undivided in a Divine energy that lives through, around, and beyond us.

The Bible

It may be argumentable, but it is apparent that for whatever may be the reason or cause that there are bits of a multitude of faiths in the Bible, much like the English language that has roots of many varied languages in its development. It should be a unifying not a dividing text by nature. The goal in the gospel was to promote love, compassion, forgiveness, encouragement, yet it often is sadly not used this way. A faith that has spread by adopting traditions can’t seek to cleanse itself of that which helped its tree grow. It may have many branches, but it thrives and flourishes with them all. All that matters is in love of the Divine, patience with the self, forgiveness, repentance, and love and compassion for others. The adopted bits enrich not harm the strength of faith. It is in unison that we grow strong together. In preserving all with all the differing bits is the strength in the Divine. We should strive to learn compassion for differences and respect all rather than tear ourselves apart. Be strengthened in the Divine Grace, embracing that which we are and that which came before us. The Always the same God has never and will never change.

God Never Changes, Lies, or Fails.

Think you are delayed? Think Again!

Blaming everything for a so-called delay in manifestation? Stop! Rethink!

Timing is not really up to you, when it comes to receiving something held in faith. There is a trend of suggesting all sorts of activities are to blame, and for some that might be if the activities are not treated with respect, moderation, and from the right heart placement. The big key here, is in the old idea of moderation!

Are you addicted?

Yes, anything can be in excess and you can be “drunk or addicted” of it! When not abused, a tool be it prayers with any fellowship** or other tools like: tarot and astrology.*** Also consider addictive tools such as: sacramental/celebratory wine, magic practices, Angel numbers.**** Any and all tools are not evil things preventing your success, but do not abuse them. Be sure to seek the higher self/Divine first pray, meditate etc.

One way to seek the Divine is…

Do you daily Bible study? Did a particular passage strike differently or stand out? Consider such things as you go about your day, and live balanced in spirit. Key things to keep in mind are respect, discipline, moderation, maybe even fasting or grounding.

Perhaps, instead of judging everyone and everything we do with so much hatred and critical judgement, we need to hold a space of more love.

As energy goes good speed keys are to relax, pray, focus, rest, make ready in spirit, open your heart, clean, act as your heart guides, harbor forgiveness, reflect and be repentative (forgive yourself), heal, prepare in knowledge, learn, be thankful, these are your speed keys!

Remember Put your faith in the Divine Not the tool, with discipline and moderation as a guiding rule.

We do not need to remove the tools or fear them, but respect and moderate them. Even the Bible has been a misused tool to hurt, isolate, or harm others promoting violence and hate, which is the opposite intent of the Gospel. The tools are not bad, keep your intent focused and your use not abuse in check!

No tools are causing your delays, it is just the perfect Divine timing lining up all the pieces you can not see!

Still think you are delayed…

Remember the Divine, be grateful, and remember everyone else’s keys (approaches or ways of doing or thinking) may not fully work for you; you must also seek out your own keys and add gratitude, then delay will no longer be a factor.

Build faith ๐Ÿ’—

Love,

Reverend Priestess Amy Chris/Lueya

** (intrigued by intuitive prophetic prayers? Remember the main intent is in fellowship and spoken blessings, which can only bring good and encouragement. Note actions you take with them should be in good faith, and also can only bring good. It does not matter what you think is or is not real here, but be respectful. This also applies to your local intuitive. *side thought, despite my understanding in metaphysics, I prefer the word intuitive)

*** (By the way, astrology was an ancient tool of personality analysis, still sometimes useful in understanding types of personalities in different situations. I personally have never found it predictive, although Vedic astrology is fascinating in that respect. It once was a science, and science was once an art, which says something)

**** (be sure they actually are repeating! Do not just time yourself to watch the clock or purposely seek them out. Often numbers relate back to scripture, an important date, or a journal entry. I number and date my journaling)

Balance is Key!

Have you heard the value that you have to work hard?

What does it really mean? And, how does it apply to purpose?

The notion is to be disciplined, diligent, and dedicated to not necessarily take the path well trodden, but to be brave and bold. It is not always about hard work or hard labor, sacrifice and hardship, but in learning, striving and willingness. That is the way of righteousness with added ethics, morals, virtues, beliefs that give good character and promote compassion, love and kindness. Sometimes it is about finding and creating tools or new ways to make it easier to achieve more freedom and time or relieve stress and anxiety, promoting good health. There are times and seasons, and everyone’s path is different. Some are not made physically strong, but are certainly not weak or lacking discipline for not being able to work as physically hard as others. We judge ourselves too harshly in misunderstanding the meaning and intent of our values. We should strive to be dedicated not strive for pain and anguish. Strive to be there for life and not spend life stressing and watching it pass us by. Learn balance in all things and achieve more, live life.

So it is not about hard work, or how hard you work, you can work to tears with no results, it is about dedication, willingness, and daring to learn, try new things and ways, create, and be different. There is a time to take a well trodden path and a time to create a new way. Let us stop promoting hardship as glory and normal, and start finding new ways to actually live in harmony and joy with peace.

What is purpose?

Purpose is not just found in service, charity and to bless others, but also in being who you are authentically to be your own unique purpose. You should not just conform or justify, but be uniquely you. Life is about love, about life, the wonder of life, the joy of life to do as what brings joy into your heart, to paint your world with the beauty and colors you bring into it, to inspire and to experience the joy. Life is not for struggle, for hardship, for sacrifice, and service. Helping others is good, but life is given to you for you. Live, love, be joyful. Abundance is perfectly okay. Seek the Divine, seek higher wisdom, seek your true self and find purpose, seek joy and find wonder, beauty, love, and the Divine. You deserve all to be all the colors that you are. To shine your light, and paint with your rainbow. Shine your light and colors out into the world. Be the blessing that you are! To share that inspiring blessing with the world.

Should we seek joy?

Life is about love and joy, because love and joy bring peace! The wonder of life inspires and shared inspiration beautifies the world. All colors matter! Also, age is no limitation, it is never too late in the Divine purpose in life.

Always be true authentic you, you are you for a reason that matters in ways no mind could ever comprehend; keep being amazing you!

So, work hard but not always in hardship! Keep in mind that ease isn’t actually evil, and that balance and what we do with our freedom is what matters most. Also, most of all be you, and do it your way!

Remember hard work in character building and spirituality is righteous and powerful.

Brightest Blessings
